After a full year break we gathered again for a weekend of aristocratic culture and fine dining. Yes it is none other than the SCLP.
Bittersweet, as this is going to be the KS mansion swan song. The iconic house is going to transfer to new hands soon.
Huge thanks to Remez family for the hospitality and all the sweet memories through the decades.
We made our best effort to make the SCLP even more memorable by trying to burn down the house using old and faulty power splitters. Thankfully it only resulted in numerous power outs and no hardware casualties.
Games
- FragPunk – We initially scoffed at this card-infused Valorant clone. However the gameplay and maps turned out to be pretty fun, and this game enjoyed many hours played.
- Grapples Galore – Physics based grapple KZ game with deathmatch and race modes. Hateful fun.
- Lort – Coop action RPG Monster Hunter lite. Only a demo, worth checking out again in future SCLP.
- Battlefield 3 – Venice Unleashed + Funbots mod = The best SCLP BF experience one can ask for.
- World of Warcraft Custom Campaign – XKnives DM’d this short skirmish for us: A 2 hour mission to kill a lvl17 target, west of Durotar. We only got half way there and to level 7. Huge fun revisiting WoW.
- Hot Wheels Unleashed – Extremely one note racing game, too bad.
- Legion TD 2 – Who can demonstrate the best worker/power balance?
- Mordhau – Not much left unsaid about this game.
- Omega Strikers – Thirsty Zealot Hockey still very fun.
- Sons of the Forest – Timmy was previously never rescued and now is a full grown adult running his cool island cult of lunatics. We made our first base, still under-equipped to go out exploring.
- Mindustry – What if tower defense Factorio? Yea you heard me right.
Food
- Hummus – No SCLP without it.
- Jahnun – Saturday morning done right.
- Fudge cake / Biscuit cake – Very good, thx to Hime and Ulq!
- Naylon – Best Asian place around.
- Papa John’s – KS branch high in the tier list.
- Paris Texas – 5 stars to first half of order, 3 stars to second half.
- Buckaroo – Texas meats galore.
- Piano Piano – Kids’ favorite.
